Message you should sell your NA and get a TT. A NA->TT conversion may work, but it wont have the suspention, gearing, etc etc that comes in the TT. Plus you probley looking at months of down time, and over all it will cost you more. I dont know if you have ever driven a TT, but my stage V breaks loose the rear 285-35-18zr tires at 55mph. There is no way my old NA could ever even dream of doing that. When I sold my 96NA for my 95TT it was the best performance upgrade for the dollar. Trust me after seeing all that Ash in Gainsville has to do to do a conversion, I am happy I sold my NA and got a TT. No offense to Ash, he just has a lot more mechanical know how then I do. But it has takin a long time for him to get to where he is today. And let me tell you once you get a TT, forget about ever saving money ever again, because once you drive it stock you will be like "wow this thing drives like it has no end, like a bat out of hell" and once that wears off you will want to go stage III to get that same feeling again, then once that weres off you will find your self looking for bigger injectors and turbos, and once that wears off, you will want to have the fastest Z ever, and once you think you have done that, there will be somone in Japan doing 200+mph in there Z and video taping it while they drive. And that my friend will just make you think he is crazy, until you start to think of a way you could do it too. Its like a drug, and Im telling you, if you go to the dark side, it will hook you. and rehap will really heart. Boost withdraw will leave a scare in your gut, because it will no longer have what it once had at one time. So my advice never drive a TT and you wont miss it until you have driven it.
